Yesterday was the ICTY movie night. This is a new custom at the court, aside form the Tuesday nights which are the TND night (Tuesday's drink nights). On TNDs interns gather every Tuesday at a bar or s.th, to socialize with each other. So, there is going to be a movie on Yugoslavia every Wednesday night. Sometimes, with all the lectures and movies on ex-Yugoslavia, I feel myself as an ex-Yugoslav. Sometimes, I am wondering if I would have been a Serb, a Croat or a Bosnian. Maybe I would be a Serb, since they have the majority of the population in the territory, so by statistics I could say I would be a Serb. However, being Muslim, I could have also been a Bosnian. But sometimes I feel more like a Croat. It might be because of the two cases I have been involved in (Seselj and Hadzic). Both Seselj and Hadzic were Serb commanders and the indictments are on the atrocities happening in the Croatian areas under their command and control. I study and go through atrocities in the Croatian properties. Yesterday we had a psychologist telling us to feel free to drop by his office if we were feeling bad after reading indictments or testimonies of the witnesses or anything. However, I have one better solution for myself and that is watching comedies. My favourite one is Friends. So, I guess every Wednesday I will end up sleeping very late, First for staying late at the Tribunal for a movie and then for watching comedies when I get home. The movie which was shown yesterday was named: “When Father Was Away on Business". It was a lovely movie. The main character of the movie was a cute, 6-year old Bosnian boy. The movie was made in the time of Tito. The father was arrested by the Communist but he told his son that he was on a business trip. It wasn't as sad as I supposed. Some parts were even funny and it even didn't end in a sad way.

After thinking about all the songs I liked, I decided to choose: imagine by John Lennon, for ಮೈ web log. It’s beautiful, but not sad and desperate. The thing I don’t like with most beautiful songs is that they are either sad or too desperate. Wouldn’t it be better if there were more romantic beautiful songs without sad or desperate theme? Below are the lyrics of the songs: “Imagine” By : John Lennon Imagine there's no heavenIt's easy if you tryNo hell below usAbove us only skyImagine all the peopleLiving for today... Imagine there's no countriesIt isn't hard to doNothing to kill or die forAnd no religion tooImagine all the peopleLiving life in peace... You may say I'm a dreamerBut I'm not the only oneI hope someday you'll join usAnd the world will be as one Imagine no possessionsI wonder if you canNo need for greed or hungerA brotherhood of manImagine all the peopleSharing all the world... You may say I'm a dreamerBut I'm not the only oneI hope someday you'll join usAnd the world will live as one.
